We offer cuttings of both male and female plants if pollination and the subsequent red showy berries are desired Very ornamental plants have dark green glossy leaves that are harvested and used as a popular stimulating tea, which is a healthy source of minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. Plants do best in partial shade in hot summer climates and are hardy down to 20 degrees. Can be grown in containers in cold climates and brought indoors for the winter. Likes acidic soil and grows to 15 ft tall, though can be pruned to more of a hedge like shrub. Moderately difficult to grow from cuttings, they do best with bottm heat and a humid greenhouse environment. Easy to start from seed/ Zones 8-10.
